The Fixed Network Collector (FNC) is modular collection of industrial solid state devices used to communicate with Tesla endpoints in an AMI fixed network. Data backhaul can be provided with an Ethernet connection or a separate LTE-M gateway. The cellular gateway is replaceable to ensure the FNC has a path to deliver data to the cloud, even if cellular networks change over time.
The FNC can operate on either A/C or Solar power and be mounted in a variety of installations. The FNC produces a 1-watt watt transmission in the 902-928 MHz unlicensed ISM band. It receives, stores, and communicates meter information to the cloud based Meter Data Management System for further use and analysis.
