Automated Meter Reading Software Solutions (AMRSS) consists of a Client and Server software. Both are PC based and written on a Windows platform. AMRSS is easy to learn and use.  

AMRSS is RG3’s legacy software first introduced in 1998 and still in use today by utilities across the USA. Over the years, AMRSS evolved with more than 125 updates as customers made suggestions or requested features. It incorporated many of the functions and benefits of its walk-by reading software predecessor.

The software introduced several of the industry’s “firsts” including giving the customer the ability to capture GPS coordinates and associate them with an account while on location. AMRSS also introduced the ability to transfer data log and route data from remote locations over a Wi-Fi connection instead of having to use flash drives onsite.  

Updates to AMRSS have always been available by automatic prompt. The customer simply has to choose to update. This feature ensures that customers always have access to the latest version available and no one is ever stranded.
